Kaolin is natural hydrous aluminum silicate mineral dominated by kaolinite. Formed from long-term weathering of feldspar-bearing rock, it features soft texture, excellent plasticity, outstanding fire resistance and stable chemical property. Main chemical composition includes silica 45%~55%, alumina 30%~40%, low iron and titanium impurities. Divided into raw kaolin, washed kaolin and calcined kaolin based on processing method, the product is widely applied in ceramic production, papermaking, architectural coatings, rubber plastic filling and refractory raw material.

Raw ore goes through crushing, water washing, magnetic iron removal, drying and ultra-fine grinding. Washed kaolin improves whiteness and fineness by impurity separation; calcined kaolin is treated under high temperature to lift hardness and insulating performance. Qualified finished goods own stable whiteness, centralized particle size and fine dispersion, complying with domestic national standard GB/T14563 and international REACH, RoHS requirements.

In ceramic industry, kaolin provides plasticity for blank forming, controls firing shrinkage and promotes high whiteness after sintering, applicable to daily porcelain, sanitary ceramics and industrial insulating ceramic. In papermaking field, it works as coating pigment and filling material to raise paper smoothness, opacity and ink absorption, cutting production cost meanwhile. For coating and rubber sectors, it serves as extender filler to enhance coating matte effect, scrub resistance as well as rubber dimensional stability and anti-aging performance.
