The spontaneous polarization effect of tourmaline is permanent, which is closely related to its structure and composition.

When the surrounding environment changes, the temperature or pressure changes, the crystal bond in the tourmaline lattice is twisted, and the electron is transferred, so that one end of tourmaline is positively charged and the other end is negatively charged.
