The volume of vermiculite increases 6-15 times, and the higher one can reach 30 times. The average bulk density of expanded vermiculite is 100-200kg / m3. Because the vermiculite has a fine air barrier, it has excellent heat preservation performance.

Vermiculite tablet can be divided into five grades according to its diameter:
