The density of vermiculite is 2.4-2.7g/cm3, and the volume of vermiculite is expanded rapidly when it is roasted at 800-1000 ℃. The volume of vermiculite increases 6-15 times, and the higher one can reach 30 times. The average bulk density of expanded vermiculite is 100-200kg / m3.
