Volcanic rock (lava rock or pumice) is a kind of glass lava with dense pores, which is formed by the rapid cooling of magma in the process of volcanic eruption and the rapid escape and expansion of internal gas due to the sharp decrease of pressure. Surface electricity and hydrophilicity: volcanic rock biofilter has positive charge on its surface, which is conducive to the growth of microorganisms. It has strong hydrophilicity, a large amount of attached biofilm and a fast speed.
